"New entrant to the UK screening for tuberculosis "

According to English government's requirement, we should take the chest X-ray test for tuberculosis. Some people may wonder know why Taiwan should take, however, after I asked the staff, they said, this is according to every year's data instead of website showed. Anyway, this is different from UK customs, if you have taken the test in Taiwan, you should bring your English report to the immigration office so that you don't need to take it here. Otherwise, you should go to the university hospital for free test.

The immigration office will give you a paper that showed the detail of hospital and the date of this test. Because it's far away from where we live, we took the free bus, X12. However, if you live in Josephine Butler or Ustinov, there is no stop for X12 free bus. The nearest station is on the stockton Rd., which is behind the library. When show your student card, driver will print a ticket to you.

After arrive the hospital, you should find the X-ray reception instead of main reception. Then show them your paper that immigration office gave you, they will bring you to the room to change the clothes and take the X-ray.

In addition, the hospital is totally different form Taiwanese, it's only one floor and the environment is more relaxed.Even the reception play the pop music!
